Buying art from Contai Art Gallery is a simple and convenient process. Just follow these steps:
1. Browse the gallery's website and explore the collection of artworks.
2. Click on the artwork you are interested in to view more details.
3. Click on the Contact bar located on the left side of each page and either call us or write a message so we can discuss the exact price, payment and shipping options that are best suited for You.
Yes, Contai Art Gallery understands the importance of seeing the artwork before making a purchase. We offer a virtual viewing option where you can request a high-resolution image or video of the artwork you are interested in. This allows you to get a closer look at the details and textures of the artwork before making a decision.
We provide detailed information about each artwork on the website. You can find information such as the artist's name, title of the artwork, medium used, dimensions, and a description of the piece. If you have any specific questions or need further clarification, you can contact us via the contact form located on the right side of each page. We are available via email or phone and will be happy to provide you with more information about the artwork you are interested in.
Contai provides three distinct avenues for exploring art. Users have the option to search for art based on the specific mood it evokes in the viewer, with five distinct moods available: joy, intrigue, self-reflection, inspiration, and harmony. Alternatively, users can search for art based on one of four mediums: decorative arts, painting, sculpture, or graphic art. Lastly, users can also search for art within one of four designated price ranges.
By selecting the dot located on the right side of the artwork, users will be provided with a concise description of our various price ranges. Each price range is visually distinguished by a unique color, allowing users to easily identify the corresponding range by the color of the dot displayed next to the artwork.
Please note that the confirmation of your order and any inquiries you may have may take up to 24 hours for the gallery to process and respond to. We appreciate your patience during this time and assure you that our team is working diligently to provide you with a prompt and satisfactory resolution.

Payment
The art range displayed on the website encompasses the overall net price of the artwork along with packaging costs. Additional expenses for shipping and insurance may apply based on the destination. As each situation is unique, we recommend reaching out to us for further details and clarification.
Depending on where the artwork is located when it is invoiced and when it is released to you or your shippers, you may be subject to sales taxes, shipping fees and insurance fees . You will be responsible for any export/import duties if you are planning to move the artwork across jurisdictions.
We accept payment by credit/debit and wire transfer as well as Paypal

To further enhance the safety of the artworks, we utilize shock-absorbent padding materials such as biodegradable foam or recycled bubble wrap. These materials effectively cushion the artwork, reducing the risk of any impact-related damages during transit.
In addition to the packaging materials, we also employ sustainable practices in our shipping process. We collaborate with shipping companies that prioritize carbon-neutral or low-emission transportation methods. By choosing environmentally conscious shipping partners, we aim to reduce the carbon footprint associated with the transportation of artworks.
Furthermore, we encourage our customers to return the packaging materials to us after safely unpacking their artwork. This allows us to reuse the materials for future shipments, minimizing waste and promoting a circular economy.

When you receive your artwork, is it important that you take care when unpacking the piece to avoid causing any damage. Below we are providing you with some tips on unpacking works:
Unpacking a tube:
- Always wash and dry your hands before handling an artwork.
- Open the package on a flat, clean, and clear surface (free of pens, pencils, scissors, water, food, etc) to ensure nothing transfers to or damages the artwork
- When opening a package or removing tape, avoid cutting directly into the package, which might scratch or cut the artwork. Instead, gently insert the box cutter at an angle that creates an opening without hitting lower layers
- After removing tape or adhesive, remove them from your working area, so nothing sticks to the artwork
- When opening packing materials that directly touch the artwork, work slowly to avoid bending corners or scratching the surface

What is a certificate of authenticity?
Contai Gallery is providing with each sale a Certificate of Authenticity. Depending on the Artists request this certificate is either hand signed by the artist or signed by the gallery.
Due to the unique nature of art, if your work is meaningfully not as described, inauthentic, does not arrive, or arrives damaged, we will work with you to find the best resolution, including getting your money back. In some instances, a partial refund, restoration, or exchange may be the best resolution.
Items not as described must be reported within 7 days of receipt
Items not received must be reported within 14 days of the latest expected delivery date
Items with authenticity concerns must be reported within 180 days of delivery
